REC-TEC ANIMATION OUTPUT MODULES

 

Animation Output Files

 

The following modules automatically create .CSV compatible output files in both Comma delimited (.csv) and Space delimited (.asc) formats. These files are compatible with most Hi-Resolution Animation software. The format is:

             Single Vehicle/Object

             Time, XPos, YPos, ZPos, Pitch, Roll, Yaw

 

             2 Vehicles

             Time, XPos1, YPos1, ZPos1, Pitch1, Roll1, Yaw1

             Time, XPos2, YPos2, ZPos2, Pitch2, Roll2, Yaw2

 

             SmacRT (2 vehicles) Automatic on RUN

o           SmacRT1C.csv & SmacRT2C.csv (Comma delimited)

o           SmacRT1S.asc & SmacRT2S.asc (Space delimited)

 

             Collision Avoidance Following (2 vehicles) Created with Table

Files can be viewed by going to Files on the main toolbar on REC-TEC and selecting Animation Files.

Corresponding Output files, some offering additional information, are viewed using the Output Files selection.

 

CRUSH Text files for CAD conversion to .dxf files:

 

             Vehicle1.asc and Vehicle2.asc These files are text files that most CAD programs can import and convert to .dxf files. This will allow the user to export files with the damage profiles and vector data as they appear in this module for direct conversion to .dxf files. If vehicle data from AutoStats or Autostats Lite is imported into CRUSH, those vehicles, drawn to scale with scale damage, can be exported and converted. These files are created when the Graphics are displayed.

 

             These files can be viewed by going to Files on the main toolbar on REC-TEC and selecting Crush Vehicle Text Files.

 

 

Digital Momentum Text files for CAD conversion to .dxf files:

 

             DLMd2CAD.asc and DLMs2CAD.asc These files are text files that most CAD programs can import and convert to .dxf files. This will allow the user to export files with the damage profiles and vector data as they appear in this module for direct conversion to .dxf files. If vehicle data from AutoStats or Autostats Lite is imported into CRUSH, those vehicles, drawn to scale with scale damage, can be exported and converted. As the graphics are drawn on the screen, the module outputs two different (.asc) output files. DLMs2CAD.asc creates a textfile of the collision scaling the vectors to speeds. DLMd2CAD.asc scales the diagram to distance in feet. The files show the complete momentum diagram with vectors including the Motion Analysis plot if one is used as post-impact trajectory and scale vehicles if included in the Digital Momentum graphics.

 

             These files can be viewed by going to Files on the main toolbar on REC-TEC and selecting ASCII Text Files.
